Environment & our Commitment to Sustainability
 
The Cham Paper Group pursues strict policies to ensure environmental, social and economically sustainable development. Being committed to this development demands two main elements. Firstly it requires a clear understanding and sensitivity to the real and potential impacts of its manufacturing processes and business operations. Secondly it needs a profound belief and resolve to preserve the health and prosperity of its people and ecology.
 
We delineated our Vision 2010 to transparently inform about our strategic performance objectives with regard to reducing the impact of our processes on the environment. We identified water consumption and energy efficiency as two of the main areas for improvement. Simultaneously we are continuously working to reduce production waste and to ensure that all purchased virgin pulp is sourced from companies, which have certified their forestry operations to an internationally recognized forest certification system.
 
Ecological awareness and fair business codes determine how we work with our customers to develop products, which are ahead of market demands. With a clear understanding of our social responsibility we work together with our employees to provide a good working environment.
